Looking for bypass hardware that’s both beautiful and functional? We’ve got you covered. Our Bypass Flat Track Hardware is based off the design of our Classic Flat Track but in a bypass configuration. Choose from Classic, Prop, or Aero Style hangers. Classic and Prop hangers attach to the front of the door, and Aero attaches to the top of the door, for a lower-profile look.
What’s a bypass configuration? One in which the doors slide past one another. This door configuration takes up less space than double swinging doors, offering an elegant solution for tighter spaces. When closed, the doors stack on top of each other, so it’s more compact than swinging doors and bi-parting barn doors. Because it’s rendered in stainless steel, this bypass track is appropriate for both interior and exterior applications. Stainless steel offers superior durability—and a sleek look that goes well with industrial, modern, and minimalist décor styles.
Bypassing doors work best for concealing large openings, such as closets, office nooks, and openings between kitchens and dining rooms (just to name a few). Have an extra-large opening you wish to cover? You can add more than two doors for a ‘cascading’ look.
Bypassing doors do not provide as much of a sound seal as standard bi-parting systems because the top door sits further away from the wall. For this reason we do not recommend a bypass system for applications where privacy is needed.

For one single bypassing door kit with two doors and half clearance, your track length should be the same as the door opening. For a single kit with the doors that clear the opening entirely, you’ll need a track length that is 1.5 times the length of the opening.
If you are planning to add more than one door per track, change the quantity of doors on track in the product options to the correct amount. That way we can send you all the hangers and extra hardware you'll need.
If your door requires a track length that falls between sizes, you can round up to the next size and add the adjustable end stop. This will allow you to choose where the door stops on the track.
There are several possible mounting and door configuration options. Multiple doors can be added to the track. Simply make sure to change the “quantity of doors on track” to the number of doors you’ll be using, so we can send you the hardware you’ll need.
Side Mount Barn Door Hardware: The hardware attaches to the wall .

For one single bypassing door kit with two doors and half clearance, your track length should be the same as the door opening. For a single kit with the doors that clear the opening entirely, you’ll need a track length that is 1.5 times the length of the opening.
If you are planning to add more than one door per track, change the quantity of doors on track in the product options to the correct amount. That way we can send you all the hangers and extra hardware you'll need.
If your door requires a track length that falls between sizes, you can round up to the next size and add the adjustable end stop. This will allow you to choose where the door stops on the track.
There are several possible mounting and door configuration options. Multiple doors can be added to the track. Simply make sure to change the “quantity of doors on track” to the number of doors you’ll be using, so we can send you the hardware you’ll need.
Side Mount Barn Door Hardware: The hardware attaches to the wall .
Soffit Mount Barn Door Hardware: The hardware attaches to the ceiling or soffit .
Single Barn Door: One door on a single track .
Bi-parting Barn Doors: Two doors on a single track. The doors meet at the center of the track.
Bypassing Barn Doors:Two or more doors that slide in front of each other in their respective tracks.
