Durable & Beautiful Stainless Steel Barn Door Hardware Kit

Stainless steel is prized for its high-shine smooth finish and resilience to the elements. Our Classic Flat Track Stainless Steel Barn Door Hardware Kit offers the same streamlined, simple silhouette as our most popular track, now in Grade 303 stainless steel. It offers cool contrast to warm wood tones, and is incredibly durable. This barn door hardware is perfect for minimalist, modern, and industrial décor schemes.

Product Overview

  • Application: Interior & Exterior
  • Hardware Finish: Stainless Steel
  • Track System: Single or Bi-parting
  • Weight Capacity (per pair of hangers): 400lbs
  • Soft Stop Compatibility: Compatible
  • Mounting: Wall Mounted

In addition to stainless steel, we also offer powder-coated options, vibrant specialty colors and metallic finishes. Visit our Classic Flat Track,  Spectrum Colors Barn Door Hardware  and  Metallic Barn Door Hardware  pages for more details and photos. If you would like to order samples or request other finishes, give us a call at (253) 853-3815.

All RealCraft barn door hardware kits are machined in Washington State, USA.

Select sizes of this hardware ship free within the continental United States. Free shipping excludes expedited shipping, international shipments, and oversize orders that require LTL shipping. Fast lead time: In-stock items ship in 1-3 days! Most orders ship same day if ordered by 12 PM Pacific time.

If you're adding a Soft Stop to your flat track hardware, keep in mind that it's recommended for interior use only. A soft stop allows the barn door to slow down as it reaches the end of the track, so it won't slam. You can use Soft Stops with flat tracks 5' and longer. If using two soft stops (one at each end of the track), you’ll need a one-piece track at least 12 feet in length, or 2-piece tracks 10 feet in length or longer. Even if the overall weight rating for your hardware kit is higher, the weight rating for a soft stop is 220 lbs.

What's in the kit

(be sure to complete both step 1 and 2 above)

  • Solid stainless steel rail (may ship in pieces depending on selection)
  • Two hangers with wheels per each door on the track
  • All required nuts and bolts
  • Anti-jump plate
  • T-Guide for guiding your door
  • 2-1/2" spacer guide for installing hangers to door
  • Two stationary end stops included per kit

Doors are not included with the purchase of hardware.

Recommended Accessories

What does each accesssory do?

  • Soft stop: keeps the door from slamming. It will close smoothly and softly instead.
  • Adjustable end stop: if you want your doors to stop at a non-standard place on the track. This is optimal for making room for light switches. Adjustable end stops and soft stops are not compatible with each other.
  • Wall mounted roller guide: heavy-duty, reliable, andoptimal for thicker doors or where youcan’t drill into the floor.
  • C guide: a sleek, elegant floor guide. If you have to see it all the time, it might as well be beautiful.
  • Standoff rings: make room for wall molding so the door has clearance.
  • Drywall anti crushingrings: keep the track hanging straight instead of leaning away from the wall over time.

If you have questions, or if your project requires special consideration, please call  (253) 853-3815. We'd be happy to help!

For A Single Barn Door

Multiply your door width by two to get the correct track length. Example: For a 3' wide barn door, you'd need a 6' barn door hardware kit.  For more details, see "How to Measure for a Barn Door - An Illustrated Guide.

For Bi-parting Barn Doors

You'll need to add the widths together and then multiply that sum by two. Example: For two 3' wide bi-parting doors, you'll need a 12' track. When you make your selections in the menu, change the quantity of doors on track to the correct amount. That way we can send you all the hangers and extra hardware you'll need.

Barn Door Configuration & Mounting Options

There are several possible mounting and door configuration options. Multiple doors can be added to the track. Simply make sure to change the “quantity of doors on track” to the number of doors you’ll be using, so we can send you the hardware you’ll need.

Side Mount Barn Door Hardware: The hardware attaches to the wall .

Soffit Mount Barn Door Hardware: The hardware attaches to the ceiling or soffit .

Single Barn Door: One door on a single track .

Bi-parting Barn Doors: Two doors on a single track. The doors meet at the center of the track.

Bypassing Barn Doors:Two or more doors that slide in front of each other in their respective tracks.

If your door requires a track length that falls between sizes, you can round up to the next size and add the adjustable end stop. This will allow you to choose where the door stops on the track. We are also able to cut tracks to your specifications.

For custom track lengths, call us at (253) 853-3815.
