Optimize your automated opener system with arm extensions for wide doors. These Franklin arms are recommended for all carriage doors wider than 5 feet. These extension arms connect to the door leaf at or near the midpoint of the door, ensuring better mechanical leverage. This moderates the operating speed, giving you more control and smooth operation even for the widest doors. Available in three sizes:Â
- 32" extender is for doors up to 6' wide
- 43" extender is for doors up to 8' wide
- 60" extender is for doors up to 10' wide
Includes one set of two extender arms. Please note that these extender arms are used instead of the standard curved arms. They do not attach to the curved arms.Â
