The Shop Hand is an entry-level, part-time role that supports our production, shipping, and facilities teams. This position plays an important part in keeping the shop organized, stocked, and running smoothly by assisting with facility upkeep, tool organization, material handling, and general shop support. By taking care of these essential day-to-day tasks, the Shop Hand helps our craftspeople stay focused on building exceptional custom doors. Do you enjoy working with your hands and want to learn real woodworking skills from experienced craftspeople? We’re looking for a full-time, on-site Entry Level Woodworker to join our production team at our Gig Harbor shop. You’ll work with solid lumber from the beginning of our production process, rough cutting and milling material for door components, preparing pieces for glue-ups, and learning how raw wood moves through the shop to become a finished RealCraft door. No woodworking experience is required; this role is ideal for someone who is physically capable, dependable, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in the craft. The position pays $20–$23 per hour and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, paid holidays, a matching IRA, and additional shop benefits.
