RealCraft’s Home Accents Collection

At RealCraft, we are always looking into new ways to improve and make our customer living spaces more comfortable. We are proud to launch our new line of home improvement products!

Historically focused on barn doors, barn door hardware, and carriage doors, we focus on developing new, beautiful, handcrafted wood products. We recently released two new products: barn wood accent walls and butcher block countertops.

When developing new products, our primary goal is to create something that looks beautiful, feels good to the touch, and lasts for a very long time. We want to create products that speak to our customers. We want to create something that you will love and will be proud of every time you look at it.

Another high priority when developing a new product is ensuring that we offer a vast range of possibilities for you to choose from. You will always find a large selection of wood species, finishes, cuts, accessories, wood grains, colors, and much more with us. We always want to make sure you can build your dream product. We believe that every project is unique, and every component should be just as impressive.

We want our customers to be proud of their acquisition, and we want our products to make them feel at home. Whether it is your new kitchen island countertop at home or a new sliding barn door for your coffee shop, our goal is to help you build your happy space.

RealCraft’s Barn Wood Accent Walls

Accent walls have become a trendy decoration feature. Once associated with farmhouse and rustic decoration styles, barn wood accent walls are now an iconic design feature that can be added to any design scheme or style. From modern to rustic, to minimalist, you name it!

Barn wood accent walls are a feature that can bring warmth to your space. There are so many ways that accent walls can change your room: you can cover a full wall, half wall, cover a specific geometric, and so on! But remember, for more impact and consistency, the ideal is to accentuate just one wall (that is why it is called anaccent wall!). Remember: the idea is to make one wall pop from the rest of the room.

Another important topic to mention about wood accent walls is that differently from what many non-professionals think, wood accent walls are straightforward to install. You read it correctly; barn wood accent walls are straightforward to install. We believe that home improvement projects should be easy, and we try our best to make the installation process as simple and straightforward as possible. Take a look atCindy’s wood wall installation process, and notice how simple the process is!

When shopping for RealCraft’s wood accent walls, it is important to notice that we sell accent walls by kits 15 square feet and the minimum order is 30 square feet (or two kits). Ourwood panels come in widths of three, five, or seven inches, and the length is random lengths. The thickness of the wood varies based on the wood option.

Square footage formula:width x height = square footage. To find out how many 15 square feet kits you need, you just need to divide the total square footage by 15.

For example, if your wall is 6 feet tall and 10 feet wide, your square footage is 60

(6 x 10 = 60 sq ft²).In this case, you will need four kits.

RealCraft’s Wood Butcher Block Countertops

Released in August of 2020, our Butcher block countertop is becoming a customer favorite! We proud ourselves in offering the most complete customization package in the market.

When building yourbutcher block countertop on our website, you will be prompted to select your favorite wood specie (from 22 options available!), construction style, dimensions, and thickness, if you would like a sink cutout, edge style, and wood finish! The ordering process is simple, intuitive, and illustrated. We are also always available to help you place your order over the phone, by email, or even online chat through our website.

When customizing your countertop, you will start by selecting your favorite construction style. We currently offer three different options: Standard Face Edge, Linear End Grain, and Mosaic. Those three different styles are equally beautiful, and the choice is totally up to you and what you think will work best for your project.

The second customization step is selecting your wood species. We currently offer 22 beautiful wood options: Knotty Alder, European Beech, American Ash, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Douglas Fir Wide Grain, Reclaimed Douglas Fir, Knotty Rustic Walnut, Sapele Mahogany, White Oak Plain Sawn, Douglas Fir tight Grain, Reclaimed Redwood, Padauk, Purple Heart, Premium Walnut, White Oak Quarter Sawn, Bubinga, Wenge, Afromosia, Zebra Wood, and Teak! All wood species have their own unique characteristics and the price between them varies, so there’s a gorgeous wood species for all budgets.

The third step when building your wood butcher block countertop is to specify the dimensions for your project. On our very user-friendly building interface, you will enter the length, width, and thickness. In this step, you will also be able to specify if you would like a CNC cutout for your sink. If you pick yes or have questions about the cuts, please give us a toll-free call at 1-800-694-5977. Oh, to make things easier, you can also send us your sink, and we can make the cut to perfection and even ship the countertop with the sink already installed! How cool is that?!

The fourth designing element that you will select are the edge styles. We offer four stunning edge styles that will perfectly match any design scheme you can think of. The butcher block countertops edge styles are Round Over, Bullnose, Chamfered, Small Roman Ogee, Roman Ogee, and eased. Another really cool part of our process is that you can select different edges for the different sizes (front, back, right, and left). Did not find the edge you want? Give us a call with your idea, and we can definitely work something out. You dream it; we make it! The sky's the limit!

Finally, the last customization step is to select if you would like a wood finish on your countertop. We highly recommend applying ourOsmo Food-Safe hardwax Oil.Osmo Food-Safe Hardwax Oil - Osmo is a plant-based, non-toxic hardwax oil finish that is entirely food-safe, water repellent, extremely tough, and hard-wearing. It is hand-rubbed and provides a breathable, smooth exterior that conditions and protects the wood from liquid spillages and stains.
