Small scratches or marks on your floor can be repaired using the Osmo Repair Set, which includes a heating gun and wax sticks. Simply heat the wax stick, apply it to the scratch, and smooth it with a spatula. Choose a wax stick color that matches your wood for the best results.
For worktops treated with Osmo TopOil, clean regularly with soapy water and a cloth. Do not use abrasive powders or scouring pads. For deeper cleaning and maintenance, occasionally use Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner or Osmo Maintenance Oil to keep surfaces looking their best.
To restore weathered and greyed exterior wood, use Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel to remove the greyed fibers and bring back the wood's natural color. Afterward, apply a suitable treatment from Osmo's exterior product range for lasting protection.
Seal the end grain by applying a small amount of Osmo End Grain Wax Sealer with a cloth. Allow it to dry thoroughly to ensure a durable seal against moisture.
- Interior wood: Re-application is typically needed every 3-5 years, depending on the level of use and maintenance.
- Exterior wood: Re-application varies from 3-10 years, influenced by exposure to sunlight and weather. Coastal or south-facing woods may require yearly maintenance.
Maintain your decking and garden furniture by cleaning occasionally with Osmo Decking Cleaner. If the wood has greyed, use Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel to restore its natural color, followed by re-applying a suitable treatment for protection.
Osmo Woodfiller is ideal for filling gaps, splits, and cracks in interior wood. If staining the wood, choose Osmo Woodfiller (73001 Natural) as it can be stained to match the floor. For unstained wood, select a filler color that best matches the wood tone.
