Application Overview

By Hand with Fleece Applicator Pads

Stir the Polyx®-Oil well and pour into the tray.
Work the product into the wood thinly and evenly in figure 8 or circular motions using the fleece applicator pad.
Leave on the surface for approx. 5 minutes.
Allow approx. 8–10 hours drying time. Allow for good ventilation while drying.
Apply the second coat following previous steps.

By Hand with a Cloth/Rag

Stir the Polyx®-Oil well and prior to use.
Work product into wood using a lint-free microfibre cloth in a circular or figure 8 pattern.
Allow roughly 15 minutes for oils to penetrate.
Working with the grain, remove all excess product from the surface.
Allow 8–10 hours drying time before recoating.
Apply the second and third coats following previous steps.

Small scratches or marks on your floor can be repaired using the Osmo Repair Set, which includes a heating gun and wax sticks. Simply heat the wax stick, apply it to the scratch, and smooth it with a spatula. Choose a wax stick color that matches your wood for the best results.

For worktops treated with Osmo TopOil, clean regularly with soapy water and a cloth. Do not use abrasive powders or scouring pads. For deeper cleaning and maintenance, occasionally use Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner or Osmo Maintenance Oil to keep surfaces looking their best.

To restore weathered and greyed exterior wood, use Osmo Wood Reviver Power Gel to remove the greyed fibers and bring back the wood's natural color. Afterward, apply a suitable treatment from Osmo's exterior product range for lasting protection.
