MATERIALS + FINISHES

RealCraft offers twenty different wood options, including domestic and select exotic species.

Adding a finish to your door protects it and makes it eligible to be covered by our warranty. A clear finish also brings out the color and detail of the wood grain. Stain finishes can intensify or adapt the color of the wood and provide additional protection against fading. Visit our wood species page to learn more.

We offer the following finish options:

  • Clear Satin Eurofinish by Osmo: A premium hand-rubbed hardwax oil that conditions, seals, and finishes the wood.
  • Oil Stain EuroFinish by Osmo: A premium hand-rubbed hardwax oil that stains, seals, and finishes the wood.
SHIPPING, DELIVERY + LEAD TIMES

Our lead times are subject to change based on order volume, design complexity, and more. Find the most up-to-date lead time here.

Our doors ship free via FedEx with the option to add lift gate service. We recommend lift gate service for most residential projects.

Shipping Protection

We've partnered with UPS Capital to introduce an advanced shipping protection plan. This plan shields your purchases against any unforeseen events during transit. Guard your package against loss, theft, or damage. Visit our Shipping Protection page to learn more.

FINANCING

We offer two ways to pay over time. The first is with Payment Deposits. Available on qualifying orders valued at or above $3,000. You can get started with 50% down and pay the rest when the door is ready to ship. No credit checks or third party policies required—just the freedom to start your project on your terms. Learn more on our deposits page.

We’re also proud to offer Shop Pay Installments. Buy today and pay in 4 or more payments starting at 0% APR. If you finance your purchase with Affirm (Shop Pay Installments), your first payment is due approximately two weeks after your purchase is finalized. Please note that due to extended delivery times, your loan payment(s) may be due before you receive your purchase.

PRODUCT CARE

Interior doors finished with Osmo should have the finish touched up annually. With no sanding needed to spot reapply, this is easily done, as Osmo can be brushed or rubbed on anywhere the wood looks like it's lost its luster. Full refinishing of interior doors is recommended once every ten years or so.

SIZING

When determining the size of your barn door, we recommend that the door overlaps the doorway to minimize gaps and provide some sound-muffling for privacy. An inch of overlap on each side is a good rule of thumb for barn doors. For example, a 36” x 80” doorway would need a 38” x 81” sliding barn door. If you would like more sound sealing, then a 2-inch overlap on either side is best. To make sure it looks as intentional as possible, your barn door should also completely cover any molding on the door opening when closed. So if you have molding, you’llneed to factor that into your measurements as well.

An Interior French Door That’s Stunning and Versatile

The Full French Glass Sliding Barn Door features simple but striking construction, allowing the tempered glass to take center stage. After all, that’s what makes an interior French door so special: the glass panels allow light to flow between spaces. We opted to keep the details streamlined and simple for a door that will work beautifully in both contemporary and traditional spaces. This door has four solid wood planks encasing ten glass panels. The result? Timeless elegance. Plus, this French door is available in twenty wood species to make it unique and coordinate perfectly with your space. From classic Quarter Sawn White Oak to luxurious Wenge, we have what you need to create a door that’s unique to you.

At home, sliding French doors make great pantry doors, playroom doors, or home office doors. You could also consider French closet doors in a bi-parting setup for an eye-catching update. In commercial contexts, sliding French doors are great for offices, hotels, and retail stores. They add an elevated, high-end look to any space.

Pair your sliding French doors with our Classic Hardware kit for a streamlined look, or opt for super-minimalist top mounted Aero. You can also add a luxurious touch with our Swiss Rod Brass Hardware Kit.

Skilled artisans make all our doors by hand onsite in Gig Harbor, a small seaport town on the Puget Sound in Washington State.

For frequently asked questions about choosing a door and hardware see our FAQ page. If you're not sure what species is right for your space, or want to see the wood in person, you can order samples here

Please note that doors will ship separately from sliding hardware when purchased together. Doors are pictured with hardware for context. Sliding hardware is sold separately, and not included with the purchase of a door. Doors are not pre-drilled for hardware. If you order a door and a hardware kit, we are unable to ship hardware installed on doors due to the risk of damage in transit.

We designed these doors with interior applications in mind. We don't recommend exterior use, and can't guarantee against warping or damage if you install your door outside. To have this door specially crafted for exterior use, call us at 1-253-853-3815 and we’ll be happy to help!

If you wish to customize the door even further, we can make your dream door a reality! Please understand that customization will add to the lead time. If you need more than 10 doors, or if your project requires special consideration, please call 1-253-853-3815

RealCraft offers twenty different wood species from budget-friendly to exotic and rare. One of the reasons we love real wood so much is that it carries the character of its natural habitat. Wood species respond differently to humidity and temperature conditions. If you aren't sure which wood species to pick, call us at 1-253-853-3815

We recommend adding a clear finish to your door to protect it and ensure that it is eligible for coverage under our warranty. A clear finish not only protects your door, it also enhances the door’s beauty while preserving its natural, unique texture. Clear finish brings out the color and detail of the wood grain.

We offer the following finish options:

White Primer: Added to Paint Grade Hardwood. For this option, we use only high-quality hardwoods like European Beech or Red Grandis. These species provide a smooth surface for paint.

Clear Satin Eurofinish by Osmo: A premium hand-rubbed hardwax oil that conditions, seals, and finishes the wood.

Oil Stain EuroFinish by Osmo: A premium hand-rubbed hardwax oil that stains, seals, and finishes the wood.
