If you're looking for a rugged exterior door hanger that will hold up against heavy-duty use, Industrial Flat Track Exterior Sliding Barn Door Hardware is the golden ticket. 

This hardware combines the sleek look of our Classic Flat Track with industrial-strength carrying capacity. Weight rated up to 800lbs per pair of hangers, this hardware kit is ideal for industrial applications and very heavy doors. All three finish options are suitable for interior use. Made of solid steel, the track and hangers are the most rugged flat track we offer.

Lag bolts do not come standard with the Industrial Duty Flat Track. Please call us at (253) 853 3815 if you wish to add them to your purchase. Note that the lag bolts we offer are suitable for wood only; they will not work for drilling into steel, concrete, or other materials. To guide the door at the bottom, upgrade to the Industrial Floor Mount Stay Roller.

If you are ordering two or more tracks, you can join them together with a splice plate, but this is optional.

Industrial Flat Track lead time: These kits ship in 2-3 weeks. Sizes above 20' are made to order and may take longer. Industrial Flat Tracks are final sale.

Sizing Guide

Sizing For A Single Barn Door

Multiply your door width by two to get the correct track length.

Example: For a 3' wide barn door, you'd need a 6' barn door hardware kit.

Sizing For Bi-Parting Barn Doors

You'll need to add the door widths together and then multiply that sum by two.

Example: For two 3' wide bi-parting doors, you'll need a 12' track. When you make your selections in the menu, change the quantity of doors on track to the correct amount. That way we can send you all the hangers and additions you'll need.

If your door requires a track length that falls between sizes, you can round up to the next size and add the adjustable end stop. This will allow you to choose where the doors tops on the track. We are also able to cut tracks to your specifications.

Accessory Information

  • Adjustable End Stop: Choose exactly where you want your door to stop on the track. This is an optimal way to create space for light switches.

    Note: Soft stops and adjustable end stops are not compatible with each other.

  • Wall Mounted Roller Guide: Heavy-duty, reliable, and optimal for thicker doors or in rooms where you can't drill into the floor.
