Modern Single Panel Sliding Glass Barn Doors

Brighten your space with the Single Panel Glass Barn Door. The large glass panel maximizes natural light in a timeless design that complements any space. Available in two different glass styles and twenty wood options.

Let The Light In With Sliding Glass Barn Doors

The Single Panel Sliding Glass Barn Door is sublimely simple and versatile. With just four wood planks encasing a single glass panel, it splits the difference between being a door and a window. If you have a space that’s a little dark, this glass barn door allows light to filter in, brightening your home and opening up the space. The simple design means this door will work for any décor style—just choose the wood species and hardware that best match your space.

Our doors are made from premium materials from start to finish. Our glass is available either in etched or clear, so you can choose how private you want the door to be. Choose from twenty different wood species, ranging from to exotic. Popular choices include:

  • White Oak
  • Walnut
  • Maple
  • Sapele Mahogany

The materials are only one half of the story. The people who make them are just as important. Skilled artisans cut, assemble, and finish our doors by hand. So our doors have an artisanal quality that’s hard to replicate in a mass-produced world. We build for people who want a product that’s real.

This sliding barn door is perfect for:

  • children’s playrooms
  • art studios
  • kitchen pantries
  • home offices
  • laundry rooms

It could also work in a bypassing configuration for closets. In commercial applications, a glass barn door is great for bakeries and kitchens, schools, medical offices, and dance studios.

Skilled artisans make all our doors by hand onsite in Gig Harbor, a small seaport town on the Puget Sound in Washington State.

For frequently asked questions about choosing a door and hardware see our FAQ page. If you're having trouble deciding what wood species is right for your space, or want to see the wood in person, you can order samples here.

Please note that doors will ship separately from sliding hardware when purchased together. Doors are pictured with hardware for context. Sliding hardware is sold separately, and not included with the purchase of a door. Doors are not pre-drilled for hardware. If you order a door and a hardware kit, we are unable to ship hardware installed on doors due to the risk of shipping damage.

We designed these doors with interior applications in mind. We don't recommend exterior use, and can't guarantee against warping or damage if you install your door outside. To have this door specially crafted for exterior use, call us at 1-253-853-3815 and we will be happy to help!

If you wish to customize the door beyond the options presented here, we can make your dream door a reality! Please understand that customization will add to the lead time. If you need more than 10 doors, or if your project requires special consideration, please call 1-253-853-3815.

Financing

We’re proud to offer Shop Pay Installments! Buy today and pay in 4 or more payments starting at 0% APR. If you finance your purchase with Affirm (Shop Pay Installments), your first payment is due approximately two weeks after your purchase is finalized. Please note that due to extended delivery times, your loan payment(s) may be due before you receive your purchase.

When calculating the size of your barn door, we recommend that the door overlaps the doorway slightly to minimize gaps and provide some sound-muffling for privacy. An inch of overlap on each side is a good rule for barn doors. For example, a 36” x 80” doorway would need a 38” x 81” sliding barn door. If you would like more sound sealing, then a 2 inch overlap on either side is best. To make sure it looks good, your barn door should also completely cover any molding on the door opening when closed. So if you have molding, you’ll need to factor that into your measurements as well.

We highly recommend adding a clear finish to your door to protect it and make sure that it is eligible to be covered by our warranty. A clear finish not only protects your door, it also enhances its beauty and shine and brings out the color and detail of the grain.

We offer the following finish options:

  • White Primer: Added to Paint Grade Hardwood. For this option, we use only high-quality hardwoods like European Beech or Red Grandis. These species provide a smooth surface for paint.
  • Clear Satin Eurofinish by Osmo: A high-end hand-rubbed hardwax oil that conditions, seals, and finishes the wood. Our
  • Oil Stain EuroFinish by Osmo: A high-end hand-rubbed hardwax oil that stains, seals, and finishes the wood.
